NuDIZZ

There will be a really cool and groovy event next week in my home island. "NuDIZZ" or Nusa Dua International Jazz Festival. It will be held on December 28-29. There will be lots of talented Indonesians and international mucisians performing, including our friend Balawan and his ethnic fusion band. They're so cool..combining jazz, fusion, and Balinese ethnic musics. The band instruments consist of modern and traditional stuffs. They dress as Balinese. And often, the beautiful singers will do Balinese simple dances while singing. It is so wonderful to watch their performance.

*Balawan is a Balinese very talented mucisian, the first in Asia who can play guitar with a specific style....tapping!*

I hope this event will attract many tourists, as the event's patrons hope. The location is great. It'll be in Nusa Dua, where the exclusive 5-star hotels are located (so, the ambience is kind of cozy...not as crowded as in Kuta or Seminyak). It''ll take place at the Ampitheatre, where its open stage's background is Candi Bentar, the Balinese gate. It will be a wonderful jazzy evening....
