There's always a first time

It's been quite a while since my last posting. Yup, the best excuse is [apparently, it is the true good one], I have been a bit busy for the last couple of weeks. Getar went back to school after long holiday. He's in 3rd grade now. Cannot believe how time flies, he's a big boy. Even he has to wake up at 5, he's so excited going back to school with longer school hours. He got a fever for two days last week. Thank God, it was not a major ill. We thought he might just too tired with the new schedule.
What kept me (and hubby) busy are our new projects. First, our company obtained our first marketing research project. We have been selling (passively, though) this service through company profile, printed and online. The client found us through search engine, then contacted us, had a meeting, brainstormed, and had a deal. It is currently going on quite well, right on track at this moment. We hope to have some similar projects in the near future.
Second, I have been preparing myself for today's event, where I will do MC in front of the President of RI for the first time. The event will have the Nobel laureate, Prof. Mohammad Yunus. I obtained this job from my loyal client who referred me to provide this service. He personally insisted the Palace Protocol to have yours truly as the MC and assured my quality (thanks, Pak!) My comment on the event, exciting but a bit annoying. Since Friday, I had to go to the venue (45 minutes drive) to meet the organizer, then the Presidential Protocol, and did rehearsal. Had to spend extra cash for fuel. This morning, woke up at 4 am, dressed up and made myself up. Baby Al had to spend the night with my Mom so I could prepare myself timely. I was ready at 7 am at BICC. Yup, had to go very early in the morning to avoid traffic jam and most importantly, the security hassle due to the President's arrival. Anyhow, I did my best. My clients expressed their satisfaction. Alhamdulilah... I look forward to the Farewell Dinner on Wednesday (no President, though....)

Alhamdulillah..dapat limpahan rejeki ama kepercayaan bisa cuap2 didepan pres RI, Insya Allah bisa terulang lagi dan lebih banyak he..he..he..

Sepertinya bener kata orangtua..nambah anak nambah rejeki, yah semoga rejekinya anak2 nambah terus dech. Allah memang adil buat hamba2nya yang bersabar dan berusaha.

Jadi..should I add one more into my family biar rejekinya juga nambah ?!...hm.......

Believe me darling, It is difficult to get the first chance.

But once it went well, your name is on the list. And any other events in Bali involving the President will consider your name.

Cheers, Tri
